Material Aid Donations

As we seek to empower clients and their children through our Material Aid Program, we do not distribute used undergarments, or soiled, badly-stained, torn, or threadbare garments.

Due to safety and liability factors, PDHC cannot accept baby equipment (e.g., strollers, cribs, bouncy seats, etc.), electrical equipment (e.g., baby monitors), baby formula, or baby powder.
PDHC accepts the following items for distribution to clients:

• Small baby items:  New or very gently-used blankets, bottles, stuffed animals, infant toys, socks, shoes, booties. 
• Baby clothing:  New or very gently used clothing up to size 2T.
• Maternity clothing:  New or very gently-used maternity tops, slacks, skirts, dresses, jumpers, bathing suits, shorts, and nightgowns.

Material Aid Items Needed…

For Layettes:
We would prefer to dispense new or very gently used items.  In order for us to assess the value for our files, we request that items are not gift wrapped.   Clothing should be size 2T and under

 

• Disposable diapers (size newborn through 4)
• Diaper wipes            
• Baby wash cloths & towels
• Baby blankets (receiving & crib)
• Crib sheets
• Bibs
• Bottles (must be new)
• Pacifiers (must be new)
• Onesies & T-shirts
• Booties & socks
• Sleepers & gowns
• Small stuffed animals
• Baby lotion, shampoo & soap
• Outfits
• Sweaters & jackets
• Coats & hats

For Maternity Boutiques:
Gently used or new maternity clothes
New maternity panties and bras
